What is the PTO?
PTO stands for Parent Teacher Organization. The Costello PTO is an organization made up of parents and teachers of the Costello School Community.

What is the Purpose of the PTO?
The purpose of the PTO is to enhance the educational environment and opportunities of children by providing the supplementary materials and experiences not specifically provided by the Troy School District.

How do I become a Member?
As the parent of a Costello Student, you are automatically a member of the PTO. There are no membership fees and no paper work to fill out.

How do I get involved?
The PTO meets the second Monday of each month in the Costello Media Center. No advance sign up is required—just show up (if child care is needed, Athens High School students are available to watch children who are potty trained.) You can attend as many or as few of the meetings as you wish. You can also get involved by volunteering for a variety of PTO positions and events.

If you have any questions about the PTO, send an email to contactus@costellopto.org .
